Rest Day!!!

Took a rest day yesterday. Of course, that is not to say I didn't do anything. I made it a point to get in some yoga to help stretch out some aching and over worked muscles. Also took the stick to my legs to help work out some tightness in my IT and calves. It never ceases to amaze me how guilty I feel on days that I don't run and then I wake up the next morning feeling completely amazing and know that I really needed that one day. It is like hitting a reset button for me. Now I can't wait to get out there and get in my miles this evening and the days that follow. Hey, I'm even looking forward to going to the gym. Ok...maybe I won't go as far as to say "looking forward to" but I won't be as disgruntled about it.
