Apera Performance Duffle Review and a Giveaway

Friday, July 11, 2014

If you know me, you know that I absolutely love bags. I have a gym bag, a running bag, a yoga bag, and a work bag. I’m sure that if I did crossfit, I would have a bag for that too. For me, personally, a good bag has a bunch of storage pockets, is durable, and easy to manage. Recently, I had the privilege of trying a bag that not only met my personal expectations – it exceeded them well beyond belief; the Apera Performance Duffle.
Apera put a great deal of thought into the design of this bag. To begin with, there is a large shoe storage compartment located at each end of the bag. I fit a pair of running shoes in one end and my vibram five fingers and shower shoes in the other.

On either side of the main compartment zipper, there are two smaller pockets. For me, these are ideal for stashing my inhaler, keys, and vitamin drink mix.

Located on the front and back of the bag are large pockets which I find perfect for putting my make up bag, deodorant, etc. There are also two mesh pouches perfect for slipping in sports bottles, or if you are like me...a sports bottle and a bottle of body wash.

The inside of the Apera Performance Duffle is light in color making finding things so much easier. I really hadn't thought of this as an actual feature until I started using the bag. It actually does make a difference. Another amazing feature of the bag are the interior pockets, one of which includes a lined jewelry pocket. Apera even includes a separate washable insert that I found perfect for throwing my sweaty gear into and my shower scrunchie so they'd be kept separate from everything else.

If that's not enough to convince you, the bag also features ventilated compartments, a water resistant base and wipeable lining, as well as antimicrobial protection both inside and outside the bag.

This bag is an all around win. I can not begin to express just how great the quality and workmanship of this duffle is. You will just have to get one to see for yourself. What I can tell you is that friends that have seen the bag have commented on it and asked for the link to see about getting one of their own. I'd say that speaks volumes.

Priced at $124, it is well worth the investment and I'm already planning on replacing my running bag with an Apera Performance Duffle.

Apera is currently celebrating their Anniversary with 20% off. There is also a special sale on their blue items - Hey, I like blue!  ~ Theresa

    1. The duffle does the trick for all my stuff, especially where shoes are concerned. I've packed 2 pairs of running shoes and my vibrams in the bag in edition to my change of clothes, toiletries, and running gear.
